This seminar will explore the style and logic of writing abstracts, articles, and proposals, as well as the preparation of clear and concise presentations, in order to enhance the quality geoscience communications and hasten the pace of successful publications and placement of graduate students.
Your diagram at the beginning is good at relating why you want to talk about nutrients. The equations are simple but fairly well explained. Not sure if the images after were necessary, but they were not bad either.
ReplyDeleteI appreciated the overview/significance portion at the beginning. It was good that you caught yourself during the presentation - realized that you didn't explain the terms well and then clarified what the terms meant. Nice pictures.

ReplyDeleteI really liked the last two images, they're helpful in understanding the concepts. The first figure has a lot of arrows and its a bit unclear what they all represent. Overall, good presentation!
ReplyDeleteI liked your explanation of how each variable is measured. It helped me visualize what was going on better. I think if you integrated the pictures of your nutrient release into your explanation of the equation, that would improve both parts.
